Series: ACOTAR | Author: Sarah J. Maas | Genre: Fantasy, Action and Adventure Romance | Rating: 5/5

I really have become predictable… Well no point in sulking because here I am loving life!! This series was so good… It was good in a sense that it had a good plot. I struggle with romance books that lack a story outside of their relationship. This series gave you relationships that not only had steam but also were modern day acceptable. (Snooze) Kidding!!! (No).

So these books are great and they deserved the 5/5 because they will probably lay some major ground work for younger women in seeing a strong female lead who is supported and lifted up by her partner. Now I love that but do I necessarily find it sesssyyy in a literary sense? No… Baby boy….. I want you to be toxic. I want you to yell back at me when we fight not be a damn GENTLEMAN. I want you to be jealous and possessive…. This book was not that and you know I am aware that the problem is me. I have the issues. Am I in a relationship that’s shown in the book? Yup, but when I’m reading do I want a semi toxic relationship? Uh yeah…. So while the romance in these books is great I found myself reading them more for the plot which is totally okay!!

These books follow a girl named Feyre as she has to leave her home in the mortal lands to live amongst the fae that she has been raised to fear and hate. But what she finds is nothing like she expected. This follows her as she tries to protect her family and the man she loves. While also trying to navigate her way in this new world with people that aren’t actually all bad. These books are action packed with romance and I find that the romance level increases throughout the books! So just FYI these books eventually get pretty steamy!!

Okay another confession….. I really liked Tamlin and I know he turned out to be awful but hi once again I’m toxic and YUP.

Let’s get a few things straight. No beating around anyone’s bush –> straight to the factttsss. This blog will only consist of posts that I will immediately regret after posting due to the fact that I have no business having any type of opinion on absolutely anything.. Also if you are hoping to read some genius interpretation of some of the finest literature please do both of us a favor and just block me, or whatever you do on WordPress to completely erase the risk of you reading my trash reviews that will make you instantly hate me and want to tell me why.

Also if you haven’t noticed…. I am not a writer, and I usually never reread anything. (Or am I just that bad at English that I can’t form a correct sentence?) So if bad punctuation and incorrect use of words drives you crazy please join the people who already hate me because I am a disgrace to book bloggers everywhere.

This is my little oasis where I can drink my wine, probably get a little too tipsy and post my reviews about the books that I am usually too embarrassed to openly say I am reading. (Why do I still love young teen love, gross)

Okay now if you are a visual person and want to know what kind of blog this is. Picture a trashcan on fire. No further explanation needed.
