This book was really enjoyable. Layla-bug….. *Heart strings* This book follows a young girl named Layla who is half demon and half warden. And I know I was like what the heck is a warden?? It’s a dang Gargoyle. HOW FUN. Brought back a deep memory of this gargoyle show my brother watched when we were kids LOL. Anyway, she was adopted by a family of wardens with one being Zayne who is a few years older than Layla. There is some heavy angst there that they really can’t touch on because one kiss from Layla and Zayne is a goner. Darn you demons. Now Layla is being followed and attacked by demons everywhere. But somehow an upper level demon named Roth *sighs* is always there to save the day. Roth is taking everything Layla has ever known and completely flipping it upside down. Layla the girl who has been ashamed of her demon side for her entire life is now embracing it.. But with Wardens and Demons being enemies for centuries will Layla have to make a choice? Or will it be made for her….
This book was great! It was a younger read but had enough spice to keep me interested. Also I am angry and might not be making a review for the next book in the series since the first one was on kindle unlimited and now??? THE REST COST MONEY. SO ANNOYING.. My ideology is if I have to spend money on a book I might as well just buy the actual book. But we shall see!!
Let’s get a few things straight. No beating around anyone’s bush –> straight to the factttsss. This blog will only consist of posts that I will immediately regret after posting due to the fact that I have no business having any type of opinion on absolutely anything.. Also if you are hoping to read some genius interpretation of some of the finest literature please do both of us a favor and just block me, or whatever you do on WordPress to completely erase the risk of you reading my trash reviews that will make you instantly hate me and want to tell me why.
Also if you haven’t noticed…. I am not a writer, and I usually never reread anything. (Or am I just that bad at English that I can’t form a correct sentence?) So if bad punctuation and incorrect use of words drives you crazy please join the people who already hate me because I am a disgrace to book bloggers everywhere.
This is my little oasis where I can drink my wine, probably get a little too tipsy and post my reviews about the books that I am usually too embarrassed to openly say I am reading. (Why do I still love young teen love, gross)
Okay now if you are a visual person and want to know what kind of blog this is. Picture a trashcan on fire. No further explanation needed.
