BMS BMS BMS BMS BMS!!!! BROOOKKEE MY SCALLLLEEE!!!!!! <—— (Please read this with the same energy of a slipknot song.)
I haven’t been moved by a book this long since Where the Crawdads sing graced my life. This book was hilarious yet so endearing that it completely consumed my life. I very rarely and I mean rarely pick a book off of a category of “top books.” But let me say I am so glad for the level of basicness that it took for me to BUY this yes I haven’t bought a book since having KU in almost a year….. I also listened to this as an audio book and I think that was the best choice I could have made for this book. Julia Whelan has an amazing way of reading sweet literature to my eardrums. She made the characters so alive that I thank the sweet baby angels in heaven for tinted windows because I caught myself speaking back to her on several occasions and laughing like a maniac. This book was *Chef’s KISS*
In this book we meet Alex and Poppy. Two hilarious characters that are polar opposites. They have been going on summer vacations together for over a decade making memories that will make you literally LOL. Of course with this being a ROM com we get some romance. This book had me screaming for romance. This book had me sexually frustrated with Alex. If you described his character to me in real life I would be like no thank you girly. But in this book his personality was music to my soul. Emily has a way of bringing these characters to life and making you feel every single emotion. Poppy and his relationship is so comical that as the reader you are constantly smiling like an idiot!
I can not stop talking about this book. And now I’m left searching for another rom com that will make my mental health as happy as this book did. Please please please if you ever listen to a stranger that suffers from grammatical errors and babbling listen to me when I say READ IT!!!!

Let’s get a few things straight. No beating around anyone’s bush –> straight to the factttsss. This blog will only consist of posts that I will immediately regret after posting due to the fact that I have no business having any type of opinion on absolutely anything.. Also if you are hoping to read some genius interpretation of some of the finest literature please do both of us a favor and just block me, or whatever you do on WordPress to completely erase the risk of you reading my trash reviews that will make you instantly hate me and want to tell me why.
Also if you haven’t noticed…. I am not a writer, and I usually never reread anything. (Or am I just that bad at English that I can’t form a correct sentence?) So if bad punctuation and incorrect use of words drives you crazy please join the people who already hate me because I am a disgrace to book bloggers everywhere.
This is my little oasis where I can drink my wine, probably get a little too tipsy and post my reviews about the books that I am usually too embarrassed to openly say I am reading. (Why do I still love young teen love, gross)
Okay now if you are a visual person and want to know what kind of blog this is. Picture a trashcan on fire. No further explanation needed.
