The Perfect Marriage (Not rlly tho??)

Book: The Perfect Couple | Author: Jeneva Rose | Genre: Thriller, Suspense, Psychological thriller, Psychological Fiction, Legal thriller | Rating 3.75/5

Okay so.. When I started reading this book it was a recommendation from a friend who said, “you have to read this because the ending is so insane you will never guess it!!!”

Okay well here is the thing.. I have read a lot of suspense novels that left me SHOCKED,,,,, “SHOOKETH”. Hence the wife between us. That one still gets me!! So when I started reading this I immediately dismissed all the obvious persons of interest. (Yes this book is about a murder and that is not a spoiler read the back of the book) Okay so this book focuses on a married couple, Adam and Sarah Morgan. Sarah is a huge and very busy criminal defense attorney and Adam is a dried out writer. Next cliche parts are that Sarah is always busy, Adam feels neglected, Adam cheats on wife with young smoke show. And of course Adam is about to call it quits with mistress because he love his wife (gag) and then BAM home girl is murdered. Now as you can probably guess it the Wife is going to be Adam’s defense attorney. This book had every ingredient to become the most satisfying suspense book! Butttttt somehow it made me dislike the main character Sarah Morgan so much… Which is not normal for me. Also the ending was somewhat really obvious in the sense of okay???? Really… The only reason it took me by surprise is because my friend said the ending was so INSANE. So I completely dismissed my first thoughts thinking it would come completely out of left field.

This book was very well done but my anger just really took control throughout this book. Sarah just really irked me the entire book. By all means read this book because it was very well written and there were several slide plots that really took me by surprise! But I wish some of the loose ends would have been explained… Overall I would read more by this author and it has gotten me back into reading suspense novels! (YAY)

As always these reviews are my own personal diary entries over the things that I read. So if this makes absolutely no sense to you, great we are on the same page.

(side note if your wanting to watch a good suspense thriller check out The Servant on Apple TV. very random but IMPORTANT BC WOW AMAZING LUV U M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN.) <333333

Let’s get a few things straight. No beating around anyone’s bush –> straight to the factttsss. This blog will only consist of posts that I will immediately regret after posting due to the fact that I have no business having any type of opinion on absolutely anything.. Also if you are hoping to read some genius interpretation of some of the finest literature please do both of us a favor and just block me, or whatever you do on WordPress to completely erase the risk of you reading my trash reviews that will make you instantly hate me and want to tell me why.

Also if you haven’t noticed…. I am not a writer, and I usually never reread anything. (Or am I just that bad at English that I can’t form a correct sentence?) So if bad punctuation and incorrect use of words drives you crazy please join the people who already hate me because I am a disgrace to book bloggers everywhere.

This is my little oasis where I can drink my wine, probably get a little too tipsy and post my reviews about the books that I am usually too embarrassed to openly say I am reading. (Why do I still love young teen love, gross)

Okay now if you are a visual person and want to know what kind of blog this is. Picture a trashcan on fire. No further explanation needed.
