Book: Crave | Author: Tracy Wolff | Genre: Young Adult Fiction | Rating: 1/5
Do you ever just feel so uncomfortable that you just have to take a moment? You just have to sit in silence and try not to vomit while at the same time just stare off into the unknown at the time you will never get back. Yeahhhhhh, that would be ME.
Okay so this is my YA nightmare. The main character, wow look at me I already forgot her name. That is how not memorable she was! Grace (her name) drove me INSANE this entire book. I chose to listen to this via Audible because I was already reading a book and needed one for when I was driving, cleaning or whatevvaaa. Grace is like my worst nightmare when it comes to a friend. She comes off so rude and so self involved that I cringed repeatedly. She was also very arrogant and wouldn’t take advice from anyone.. Like how can you be such a know it all when you are the newbie! Take a piece of this humble pie! She tried to be the independent ain’t no man telling me what to do but at the same time made no decisions for herself?? She also treats people like crap because she is so obsessed with her boy toy she met 2wks ago. Okay, who hurt me?? Why am I so bothered AHHH.
Also…….. Can we talk about how this book cover is like a total twilight saga deja vu scene? I think that is why I even downloaded it without a seconds thought. Well, that for sure back fired. I am not a quitter so I finished it but let me tell you it was so hard and I had to stop and rewind it so many times because I would literally just zone out. This book had so much potential… But it was flushed down the toilet when Grace started using knock-knock jokes with the cool vamp over and over again. This is also a fairly new book so I was extremely surprised by the cheesy factors. And before you come for me about how this is a YA novel and that’s normal, let me direct you to my post prior to this! Thank you, buh bye!
But let me just say this book had redeeming moments that gave me hope and that’s why it got 1/5 and yes I am not opposed to giving 0/5 regardless of how you feel, like if I got 0 good things to say then you can bet you’re getting a big ole 0! I really liked the character Macy, she should have been the star if we are going to be honest. But anyway this book was a no for me, there are much better YA out there to read before this one. Like always I applaud the Author regardless of if I enjoyed the book. Because like…. They wrote a book and I struggle with my blog SOOO..
Read this, don’t read this but regardless I warned you witches!
xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxxoXOoxXXooXoOXX, your trashy blogger (yes I watched Nacho Libre religiously, k bye)
Let’s get a few things straight. No beating around anyone’s bush –> straight to the factttsss. This blog will only consist of posts that I will immediately regret after posting due to the fact that I have no business having any type of opinion on absolutely anything.. Also if you are hoping to read some genius interpretation of some of the finest literature please do both of us a favor and just block me, or whatever you do on WordPress to completely erase the risk of you reading my trash reviews that will make you instantly hate me and want to tell me why.
Also if you haven’t noticed…. I am not a writer, and I usually never reread anything. (Or am I just that bad at English that I can’t form a correct sentence?) So if bad punctuation and incorrect use of words drives you crazy please join the people who already hate me because I am a disgrace to book bloggers everywhere.
This is my little oasis where I can drink my wine, probably get a little too tipsy and post my reviews about the books that I am usually too embarrassed to openly say I am reading. (Why do I still love young teen love, gross)
Okay now if you are a visual person and want to know what kind of blog this is. Picture a trashcan on fire. No further explanation needed.
